Fished outta FWC yesterday, 5-17
 

Had to bring the girls to school yesterday, so we didn't launch until 10am. luckily the locks opened, and the baitfish were rolling out with the current. Threw one cast that netted about 100 or so finger mullet. Threw in the baitwell and rolled out. Got to the platform and then noticed that the mullet were a bit too big to catch any smaller 12 - 16" trout. Managed to put two 19" specks in the boat. Knowing that fish were on the platform, we started trying to get plastics down, but couldn't hit the bottom with the current. We started carolina rigging them on a jig head with a 1oz weight. Managed to put 12 white trout in the boat. All in all, a SLOW day.

Na, didn't finish getting her ready yet. Went in my buddy's 22' express, Had we went in the CH, that ice chest would had a lot more meat!!!
