Day 1 is in the books. We fished about 15 miles offshore of Tamarindo, rain all around but calm seas. Caught a very nice Sailfish early, a Wahoo and a 1/2 doz bonita. Lost another Sailfish, saw tons of porpoises, seaturtles. It was a great time and we all enjoyed the hospitality af Capt. Frank and Mario. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Looks like a blast!

That place is fun. I would recommend half day trips.
Full days trips are wasted money.
Sailfish bite early, then slack off.
I only fished full days the first couple of times I fished.
The rest of the trips were half day trips.
No use in wasting half a day trolling for nothing.
Did drink all the beer on the boat the second half though.

Day 2 didn't match the excitment of the Sailfish from yesterday but we had another nice trip. Mahi Mahi, Bonita were the bite of the day. Weather in the afternoon really cleared up nicely. All of the Mahi Mahi were caught around logs, pallets and other debris. Might tend to agree with Ray regarding a 1/2 day trip, especally if you take a trip in May. It was Slow in the PM. But with a liter bottle of Premix of Absolute n Mango, afternoon was not a lost cause.

Great Day on the Water with the Wife and #1, #2 and #3 Sons. Lots of chill time ahead before returning to the Real World.

Goose is bad karma on BL, like bringing a banana on the HAWK. Best drink in Tamarindo is Ciapirinna...........handmade Margaria mix and Brazillian Rum. Will become a new Tradition at CCII. We need more traditions!

Dude, his name is Mario!
