Great Redfish Action On The DU!

Enjoyed a good redfish bite today as the stiff 15-18 mph west winds forced us to stay on the inside. We always have a good Plan B for such occasions. We had 3 boats running today as I fished with Shannon Lemoine and his son Chris. We had no problem filling up the big igloo with fat redfish. Dan Evert and his son fished with Capt. Josh Ellender and Capt Gerald fished with Sandra Latty and her crew. Shannon is one of my regulars while the other 2 groups were from out of state. We whacked the reds catching nearly 50 fish between the boats. Add a nice mess of trout and a few flounder and it was not a bad day! Plenty of action for all 3 boats as everyone enjoyed their day on the DU! Good luck fishing.
