Someone has been posting that they are caching trouts with in. View of the camps so the salinity is up so it could be correct

They gotta be there. Dirty water detours ppl. But they are there I'm almost positive. I would go try if I was home for sure

Confirmation on salinity from Fearman gage

Looks like it's real. Fearman gage even shows earlier rise. Wonder if salinity came in the back door, from the pass (?) This gage is in the canal near the game warden camp, which presumably explains the tidal swing between bay water and marsh canal water. Peaks look to be tapering off though.

muddy isn't the word for that water! it's just terrible, I know people say they still catch fish in that, but i'm definately not that good.

They are in the process of lowering the basin to do some levy work. Not sure how this will affect VB.
|
Gonna be ever better

Was there today and this explains the foam in the prop wash. Water was not that bad from dry reef to the pass it got greener closer you got to the pass it won't be long

we went today, and braved the open seas this morning which eventually paid off and came back home with 40, we had to work for them though. No real pattern and very sporadic bites, but they were some jumpers today. We lost at least 15 nice fish. They were just jumping like crazy for some reason. |
