Made 1st hunt in Lebeau area today since opening morning. Totally different hunt. Opening morning we only saw 1 teal, today we saw several hundred maybe even a thousand. Wish we could have had a little wind but we were able to kill our limit of 8 just made it a little harder because the shots were far. Not many hunters to keep the birds moving either but we still got the limit.

Glad you got a few limits.....I heading back to the blind tomorrow morning....hope they are still flying in the Kaplan area.

Well if i can sqeeze away from work i am gonna give em a shot too.

I went a few times last week with a buddy and Morse. We been killing between 5 and 8. Then yesterday he killed 16 and said birds were everywhere. Today he killed 2.

I hope my place doesnt let me down like that tomorrow. Cause the bugs and mud sure aint fun fighting for 2 birds...

We did terrible open weekend (SAT). However, since then been killing an average of 3 man limits. I had a slight change of plans.....I may go spec fishing tomorrow instead!
