Kayaking in Cypremort Point?

I will be going to Cp with some buddies next weekend and none of us have ever been there in a kayak. Any places we should hit? Any advice?

Thats where I would try
If you go to the end of the road you can launch in that ditch on the side of the road
Take a look at it on google maps

I looked at it on maps. The Hammock is just a mud flat or does it have reef to fish
?

Hammock is a shell bottom with cypress stumps. If you don't get hung up your in the wrong spot.
