Rockerfeller Refuge
 

What gives with the Rock. Both launches are still closed!!! This has been a total travesty. I can only speak to some secretarial person at the refuge. Her only answer is that the contractors date estimated date of completion is Aug. 1, 2012 and that's all she knows. The east launch looks completed to me (they've been working on it much longer than the west launch) from the road but yet remains closed. Can anyone with any info provide more info as to why both launches are still closed.

just wait until the contractors knock at five, show up about 6 and you should have it all to yourself, lol

Take this for what it is worth, but someone told me this past weekend at Rockerfeller that they had talked with the WLF, and the east side should be open sometime this week.

Will be closed again Thurs. morning

I talked to a buddy that called up there last week. He was told August for the East launch to open??????????????
