Skitta Walkin the Beach 6-26

Just could not resist the possiblitiy of getting in some beach fishing before the wind switched, so me and Rockfish hooked up for a late afternoon trip with a NE wind blowing. Got there about 4:30 and realized the weather man had missed the wind direction by 180 degrees. Wind turned SW and it was a little choppy but water was good. Third cast my pink skitta gets hammered and we started getting bit pretty regular till we left. Lost 4 nice fish after hooking up and had another 10 blowups with no connect. Did not get a count but somehwhere around 15 nice ones took a ride back home. No doubt would have limited with calmer seas. Had one over 4 and a few 3's. Gafftop catfish on topwater just don't seem right somehow. My skitta came back in and kind of looked insulted. Had a great time and caught some nice fish and didn't get stung. EC
