Grand isle this past weekend
 

Been down in GI for a couple of days and finding good fish has been tough. I heard a guide talking about running to near empire to catch some. We kept 27 yesterday with probably twice that many throwbacks and 20 today with less throwbacks an bigger average size. Fishing points in broken marsh and cuts. Looking for bait is the key. Fish caught on glow DOAs , salt and pepper gulp, and live shrimp. My gf was out fishing my uncle, who was using shrimp, and she was usin plastic. I was lmao cause he was getting pissed. I also taught her how to clean fish. last pic is a big sportfisher at bird island... I almost fell out the boat I was laughing so hard. It can blow 25+ out of the south n that spot will stay clean ! Guy I took Wednesday went back Saturday n caught 200 +

Nice fish. When I was in Venice I'd fish empire a good bit, talked to a bunch of people that'd run over from G.I., pretty good haul to catch a trout.

we had a boat issue so fished off the beach at Gorillaville Saturday and caught one trout. the water was not green. need green water on beach to whackem. Looks like you you had a big time.
