Planning on putting in West Cove Canel since it looks to be shortest paddle;), neither of us are up to a real long paddle yet

Watch the tide. It can get ripping in that canal.
Is the headquarters launch open and usable for a yak?

I may make a trip if I'm free. How do y'all normally fish there?

You could always get gps coordinates for some reefs if you have a lil handheld or something. May be some within paddling distance

I fish WCove a lot and the best is WCove launch off 27. It's a good 2-3 mile paddle to most of the reefs.
We have been inquiring about launching from the ranger station on the north end for a while now. Probably not something that they will entertain for a while. I think it would be a great place for a kayak launch though.
