I need to change the black background to clear. Anyone can do that I would appreciate it.

Thanks

I tried but can't do it in .jpg format. Can you get it from him in the original PhotoShop format (w/layers)? If so, I can do anything you want with it.

jchief 07-11-2012 11:53 AM

Trying Paul.

Thanks for your help,

If you open with a windows program it will have a white background.
Should open as a TIF with no background.

.jpg and jpeg are windows files and they do not recognize any clear background he will have to do whatever he wants to do to it in some kind of paintshop. Assuming he is wanting to place it on a different background.

jchief 07-11-2012 12:13 PM

What windows program? Thanks for the help. I need it to be clear.

mrex 07-11-2012 12:14 PM

Thats not going to happen - sorry. You need a paintshop pro or photoshop type of program to work with it,

mrex 07-11-2012 12:15 PM

What do you want to do with it? I will do it and send it back to you.

mikedatiger 07-11-2012 12:16 PM

Jude, if you can wait until tonight I will take care of it for you.

redaddiction 07-11-2012 12:18 PM

Why exactly are you needing no background color? Or are you wanting to match the black color with the color of a web page or something?

jchief 07-11-2012 12:20 PM

I need no black on the image. It needs to be clear. This is going on fishing rods. The majority of the rods are dark colors, so I need the background to be clear so the rod shows through and the red and white show up.

Thanks guys

If he loads the file I sent him as a tif it has no background.
Your printer should not print a background.
(Sorry I will butt out now.)

Great logo! I want to see these rods now!

jchief 07-11-2012 01:03 PM

mrex, it printed with no background. Any way to "brighten" up the letters?

Thanks.

redaddiction 07-11-2012 01:53 PM

If your label stock is clear, a white background wont show up with a color printer. White technically isn't a color.

Good point. Didn't think of that.

I just need to lighten up the lettering now and good to go.
