I am originally from S.C. Folks from other states really just don't understand how good the deer hunting is there. Season starts August 15th and runs till January. No limit on bucks. Four doe tags over the counter to shoot whenever. 20 Doe days per year, two does per day. On my brothers club consisting of 1400 acres they kill 170 deer every year. I don't know why the deer are as numerous as they are but it's been that way forever.

I really doubt the offshore/inshore fishing is anywhere as good as Louisiana though and the duck hunting can't really compare. Lots of good dove hunting in S.C though and with Santee Cooper, Lake Murray and Clark Hill lake available the freshwater fishing is really good.

You've got mountains in the northwest corner, Myrtle Beach on northeast side and beaches all the way down to Hilton Head. It really is a nice state. And, to top it off its got loads of fine azzed women!

They dont have a Cajun restaurant there, so theres my "in".......looked at some houses in the Folly beach area and on the peninsula ......didnt fish, but the locals say its pretty good. Lots of crabs and shrimp!!!!! As for the girls........sorry man, but I live in Lafatette. Nowhere else compares!!!!!!

Dink,

You just haven't been to right places to see the talent. It' very impressive. Not saying Louisiana doesn't have talent as I have always been impressed women in this state.

Don't let them fool you on the fishing though, they really just have no idea what good fishing is over there. A couple of Reds over there is a Great Day.

Deer hunting is unsurpassed for numbers of deer though.
