2007 Kenner Vision?

Buddy's insurance just totalled out his Champion and he is in the market for another used boat. I found this 07 Kenner Vision in Texas with 100 hrs on Merc 200 . He is calling to get printout and pics but I figure he can get this boat for $20,000 less the brand new T-Top. Okay, time for everyone's opinions so have at it.

That Vision is a great boat. Love that hull and love the layout, WAY better than the non-vision series.

I have heard bad things about the quality of wiring on the Tracker made Kenners. There also is no more Kenner boat company everything is Mako now. Dont know if that makes a difference except maybe in a few years looking for replacement parts

What replacement parts?? Wiring shouldn't be that big of a deal to replace and they did put cheap onboard chargers in them but that is easily fixed.
Boat is in Matagorda so he may deal due to distance we shall see.

Kenner and Mako are pretty much identical boats. parts shouldnt be a problem. I have been lookin at the Visions pretty hard. They are nice.

I have fished in several different Kenner Visions. Most of them have the old 200 Merc Salwater series. Good Motor and I am not a Mercury fan at all. They ride relativley well and the front deck has a lot room for a 21 ft boat. Galvanized trailers are a P.O.S. The last one I had was crumbling apart in the driveway from saltwater.
