Worming the Calcasieu
Went Tuesday afternoon on the Calcasieu river. Caught 5 bass over 12" and a couple of smaller ones. Caught them between 171 launch and bridge on watermelon red trick worms.

Just from driving over the green bridge, the water looks good, dark but not black. Should be pretty clear.

Better than I did on Sabine yesterday evening. 4 small bass in 4 hours of fishing. :(

Thanks for the report Paul!! I drove to the White Oak launch and the water looked rootbeer clear. No boats fishing though? I really need to go soon!!
