Breathable waders

I'm in the market for a pair of breathable waders. I need recommendations. Price, comfortability, and reliability are the big factors. I already have a pair of neoprenes for the cold weather, I just need some breathables for teal and if we have another mild winter like last year.

Academy in lake Charles and probably other stores is having 50% off all Hodgman products. Picked up some nice breathables for 25 bucks yesterday!

I duck hunted in my Magellan mag2s all season last year.

Get you a pair of Simms, you won't regret it

I'm telling you, you'll never wear neoprene again. Spunt Drag will cause he would get cold on a 60 degree day.:smokin:

I got drakes and they are very comfortable and I hunt in them yr round and this yr will number 5 with no hole!:fingers crossed:

I'm talkin bout the $25 business. That's all me. I don't need no $200 name brand crap.

Those hip or chest? I am gonna have to go get some either way.

Spunt Drag 08-09-2012 11:03 AM

I'll try hit up Academy this evening if I don't work too late but I'm sure they're out of all the good deals by now.

Yakbum 08-09-2012 11:53 AM

Chest they didn't have many left seems like people were cleanin em out lol but there nice hodgmans with waterproof pockets on the front. There dark green too which is a plus for hunting

weedeater 08-09-2012 11:59 AM

All that's left is stocking foot type and in any real man sizes and I don't think they would hold up in the woods I hunt

Top Dawg 08-09-2012 12:58 PM

Ugh. I don't do stockings

dedwards04 08-09-2012 01:03 PM

Hodgman wade lites are super light and very comfortable. I hunt in mine all year. ill never go back to neoprene. You can move around in them better, can slide over your cloths easier, and they kept me warmer than my neoprene did because they dont sweat.

Spunt Drag 08-09-2012 01:04 PM

Maybe G&H in Gueydan will have a nice spread, I just don't wanna pay $280 for some brandname like Drake or something.

Yakbum 08-09-2012 01:12 PM

I prefer stockings especially when walk-in hunting because of the lighter weight and easier to move around in in general

cmac23 08-09-2012 01:42 PM

SIMMS
They only give a life time warranty on the G3's and up since they are Gortex. Best service in the biz hands down.
