Tide chart help
 
Can someone please explain to me how to read tide charts? For instance if there is a 1.50 low tide at 8 am then a 1.75 hi tide at 10 am then a .50 low tide at 4 pm what does that mean?

That means from 8-10am tide rises .25ft after that it falls 1.25ft till 4pm
