with the limit at 15 per person, why would you want to use a hook system that catches 4 at a time. you cast 4 times catch 16 fish, throw one back then what..... head home?? i don't get to fish as often as i want to, and when i do go i don't wanna go and make a few cast then go home.... JMO

I heard those things get caught easily under oil platforms.

Don't throw them under. Just around it.

You dont have to go home, you just cant keep anymore fish. Catch and release all day.

Jordan has had a couple of them and had pretty decent luck with them. After loosing a couple of them, you lose interest real fast.

Rig them on a 7'-7'6" Medium-Medium Heavy rod with 65-80 pound braid and a 5.0-5.3 gear ratio baitcast and you are good to go. If you get hung you can straighten your jig head enough to free it up and get your rig back. Also if you catch multiples you wont break off. The lower gear ratio give you a litle more power to reel all that plastic in. Great rig for any type of schooling fish. Personally I like to put the small plastic swimbaits on there with the tails dipped in chartreuse. If you want a bama rig we have them at Academy. They are made by YUM and called a Yumbrella. They are on the Bass aisle. Come see me my name is Adam and I am the department manager.I will be happy to get you set up with one.

My Dads buddy used it about 15 times this year under the birds with sparkle beetles ... He made one with lighter wire and 1/8oz weight with 5 leads

He never caught 5 but know he had all five hooked up but lost a few .... Most he picked up was 4 twice and 3 a bunch of times...

He made me one but it has never left my truck yet...
