Underwater obstruction near cameron

There is a large post just under the water at the launch by the ferry in cameron. It is about 5-10 yards out from the big side of the new deck. Looks like part of the old deck that got knocked by the hurricane. Its solid and could do some damage. It should be removed. I foresee lots of bent props from people backing into it.

"big side".....not sure what you mean. Is this to the north or south side of the dock?

And how far out is the post from the bank?

It's on the east side of the dock. Straight off ofthe end. If you go to idle up to drop someone off don't go to the end. It is dead in line with the new dock.

The deck on the north side of the launch is bigger than the one on the south side. If u stand at the end of the deck its about 5-10 yards east

East bank or west bank

The boat launch next to the Cameron ferry is on the West side.

Does anyone know who would be in charge of removing it? It should have been done when they built the new one while the equipment was there.

When did they rebuild? I was in that area a couple moths back and it was still all torn up.
