If you want keeper bass I caught 60 bass and 30 were between 16" and 24".
Redshad worm, titanium weight works best with glass bead.
You use regular lead weight just seem titanium hitting glass bead makes more noise.

I found mouths of a bayou or Upper Grand River and Atchafalya can be good this time of year.
You have current and throw worm dead on next to bank and let it float with current and they will find it. Even small 14" bass feel like a tank.

Typically I will fish 2 side of the mouth of bayou going into the river 100 ft to 200 ft.
Be careful and you can catch nice quality fish now river water really nice.
