I'm kinda ready to see this one. There are some pretty good sacks that come up north river at that time of year. What launch is big enough to have the event, or would they hold the events somewhere else close by and have the pros trailer.

My best guess would be the public launch off Simmons drive in Orange. Just have to keep the hookers from working those days!! Lol

Oh come on man where is the fun in that.

If the water is low they won't be able to run to far north. I live in Deweyville and sometimes you can walk across the river it gets so low. I cant wait to see how this turns out!

That's a decent launch back there, the guys that normally fish BOB might consider launching there so they don't have to worry as much about their trucks.

Is this the new launch, across from where you pop out into the river from the BOB canal ???

X3 on the hookers. Security at the boat housing area for the pros will handle up on them I'm sure. But the launch is very nice, roomy, etc. Fished several evening dogfights out of there.. dolla bills flying

Yea they seem to keep the place up pretty well and I havent had a chance to fish it but it looks like some decent fishing between launch and river

bearwash87 08-23-2012 06:39 AM

Yea I'll be following someone around to see where they go and how they fish it.
