Fishing forecast

i use rodnreel.com to check tides and such. it gives a fishing forecast number like 1 through 10. any idea what is factored into that number.
For example on Friday for The Pernt supposed to be falling tide all day of over 1'. Yet the fishing forecast is a 1 apparently not a good day. Is that cause of moon phase or since tide is falling over a long period it won't be moving much?

Also other sites list "major feeding" times or some call it major activity. any truth to that.

i never use this to determine whether i go or not cause i can't pick my days. as they say gotta go to know but i'm just trying to learn the meaning behind some of the predictions.

The "best" feeding times usually coincides with lunar cycles. I find it to be pretty accurate. Try www.tides4fishing.com

There is a few factors involved in it. Sun/moon positions, tides, time of year(spring, summer, winter, fall).
