Get to Heberts Landing any day of the week about 6am and follow all the 15ft flats south....There is a Highway you cant miss it

Put in at heberts and run east bank till you find a concrete wall with a hole in that a boat can go through and your there...

Thanks Kenner18. Thats exactly was I was looking for. Im wanting to cast net a few shrimp and maybe do a little crabbing. Are all of these wiers controlled by a flood gate?

Kenner18 08-29-2012 10:33 PM

Only one you can get thru ,if its open is Grand Bayou .

Forgive the rest on the post ,they forget somebody had to help them once too !

jdm4x43732 08-29-2012 10:34 PM

Search on here, one of the threads has a phone number to call to see if it is open or closed.

CHUM STAIN 08-29-2012 10:48 PM

They dont bother me Kenner. What size boat can make it through the gates? I have a 24ft Ranger bay with a T-top, so Im sure I will have to do all my cast netting outside of it. Thanks again.

CHUM STAIN 08-29-2012 10:48 PM

Thanks jdm. I found the number and will give them a call before I make my next trip.

Kenner18 08-30-2012 03:52 AM

T-top aint gonna get thru ,so you gonna have to stay outside the wiers.

Go purchase a hook and line map at Lake Charles Tackle. Excellent map.
