Here is a picture of Belle Chasse from another site man that is along of water. I live in Perry south of Abbeville and this is what it looked like 2 miles from me a few years back I feel for these people.

Feel sorry for those people. Makes me sick to my stomach seeing pictures like this. You never think it would happen to you, we all take so much for granted.

i'm guessing the belle chase phillips refinery is under water...

No offense to anyone but that is the risk you take living in low lying areas. Guess that is why lafayette's population exploded after katrina.

That's not belle chase! Some ones confused! It's probably braithwait across the river, or further south towards myrtle grove! I drove through bellchase thismorning, there was no flooding there! Just stating soo no one gets confused! Keep the pics coming!
