Beach Help?

I want to take a half day tomorrow to catch the falling tide and give the water a little more time to clear up. Do yall think it will be worth it tomorrow afternoon??? Coming from the Flats:confused::confused::confused:

Armand16 09-09-2012 10:56 AM

The tide is falling from 10-4:30 then starts to rise at 5. I think the afternoon would be good.

SpeckWrangler 09-09-2012 10:57 AM

The water is clearing up now. I plan to go this afternoon so if I do I'll report back

was there yesterday all morning at little flordia and hollly beach fishing the rocks wind was blowing from the northeast and when i got there tha am the water was looking okay not too clear but better than dirty but as i started to fish the wind picked up and started to stir the water up and it got dirty so end up catching a few little ones but throw backs and one big croaker but let it go. went to other spots on hwy 82 at mementaui river water was moving out fast due to falling tide then went to rockafella to look around and see what them guys were doing. some of them was working the rest was just standing around chatting... went to roll over to check out the shrimp and crabs then went on home at least i hope my report helps a bit.

I take it a man should give up hope for the beach the rest of the week. We already got out change but did HOPE to go down wend through Friday to catch a few decent specks. Any suggestions?

Coming from Vernon Parish to the beach you will be passing up some good saltwater fishing destinations on your left the whole way down
