Hunting Labs

Hey Fellas, does anyone know of anybody that would have some registered Lab pups for sale? I'd like a white one, but any color would do right about now. Thanks!

Never Seen a red lab before big daddy. I have seen an Irish Setter though. I would shell out the money for one of those if I could find one near here.

I never knew they had red labs either but they do. Also have silver.

No such thing as a silver lab. Black, yellow, and chocolate.

Only colors registered wit your major Kennel Clubs are Black, Yellow, and chocolate. And Robert Authement is reputable and a nice guy to deal with.

What most people call a silver lab, and some people breed them, is actually a mix breed. Weimaraner/lab.

jldsc 09-13-2012 09:30 PM

alright...so they can make the breed color but the kennel clubs dont accept those colors then...I had the same issue with getting AKC to accept some of the colors on my mini schnauzers...

I was wondering, cuz some of the ones I looked at had a funny lookin head on a labs frame

AKC will register a silver(registered as chocolate) and red(registered as yellow) both of which are pure-bred.

This is not true what so ever... A red lab is a thrown off gene from a yellow lab and is registered under yellow lab... It Is excepted with all major kennel clubs... Silvers which are more rare and have came from blacks/chocolates is registered as either black lab or chocolate labs... Now people started breeding blacks with W's to
Get that more deep silver but most od those silvers have been breed blacks to blacks thru good breeders that they are still registered blacks labs...
