St. Louis - Lake Charles

After last nights game in Jennings, I have to ask this question for the guys from Lake Charles....... what are ya'll feeding them little boys?

I got to witness a kid who weighed 130lbs soaking wet kick a 52 yd field goal, and it would have been good from 58. Later on in the game, He was kicking keeping his leg loose and I got to ask him what his longest kick was, replied 58 yards.

How in the world do you guys produce kickers like that, especially in such small frames? Historically, that is the weakest part of special teams play in high school ball.

St. Louis is a big soccer school

We actually talked about that and the fact kids start playing soccer at a young age in LC. I guess it is some of it.

Fixed it for you! Pat Neck is our part time kicking coach. He kicked for McNeese State U. and was awesome.

Oh, soccer helps too!
