Asterisk-Rich 09-21-2012 12:36 PM

This.^^^ We have a very low crime rate here. We also have some very nice homes and apartments here as well. I have a friend that is a realtor should she need some help. We're about 20 minutes out of BR, minus traffic. There is a decent night life in Gonzales and, the big cities are just a short drive away. Send her this way. I'm sure my wife would be glad to show her around town as well.

If ya have any ?'s, PM me and I'll give you my cell #.:)

Stay away from North BR and Gardere street. Oh and most of the State streets just north of campus.

Congrats to your daughter!

Why would anyone want to move away from Madison? It's beautiful there!!!

bluejag 09-21-2012 03:50 PM

thanks, must not be much need for geologist here.

We lived there for 3 years in the late 80's and loved it.

Hopedale Hustler 09-21-2012 04:20 PM

Chippewa street

simplepeddler 09-21-2012 05:04 PM

North to Zachary or South the Gonzales.....(Saint Amant is even better)
The wife and I would be happy to show you guys around as well.......Corey is good people too.....if she moves this way....we got her back till she settles in.

Mine is 20 at LSU now......I know the feeling.....

if she is working off corporate, there is a few apartment complex's around there that are nice, I wouldn't move in the apartments off college drive. I live off stumberg in some older apartments, but its quiet and I'm close to work, south baton rouge isn't too bad, I clean carpet for a living and do a lot of work for several different apartment companies, if you have any questions about apartments in baton rouge I can answer them for you threw Pm I can't post negative comments about apartments on open forum since I do work for over 50 complexes in BR area.

fishinpox 09-21-2012 08:39 PM

Tell her to look at turn berry apts on bluebonnet by Perkins , my fiancé used to live there for 5 years w/o any incidents . It's also gated and lots of cops live in there .

bluejag 09-23-2012 08:48 AM

Thanks for all the replies,we are working on a list to go check out, LP thanks will PM if any question come up.

Garfish 09-24-2012 12:46 PM

Jefferson hwy between Corporate and Essen (Bocage) has some nice apt. complexes. My mom lives in one there (Jefferson Oaks?) and has not had any issues. Zachary and Gonzales area are nice too if she wants to stay out of town, but traffic to and from is a bi - otch!

bluejag 09-24-2012 01:59 PM

bocage area is on the list thanks
