Hitting the lake in the morning, it really has been too loooooong since I have been on the water. So excited I doubt that I will get much sleep. Departing Spicers about 5:30 with DWA in a 20 ft Xpress.

Shrimp are running. Caught limit Thur and Fri. Water was nice everywhere today. Lots of sandies/whites. Didn't catch many specs. Manmade reefs are holding some fish

Winds were tough at daylight, but calmed down later in the day.

Thanks for the info. To be honest, I really don't care if we catch or not. I can't wait to watch the sunrise, enjoy the tranquility and just get the hell away from work.
