Triple tail

I have a buddy that works on a crab boat and he claims they've been seeing lots on there floats in VB. Anyone ever seen or heard of them in that area? I have been looking but maybe looking for the wrong things.

I've been looking, and I've never seen any in the bay. Outside is a different story during the heat of the summer. I'll be sure to look again this weekend though!

My brother spotted one on Friday afternoon out in the Bay, he didn't have any live bait, he tried plastic and dead shrimp, but it wouldn't hit it. If would have had a live shrimp, it would have been on.

never heard of them being in VB but it is possible lately, crossing the bay yesterday we saw 2-3 dolphin right about the halfway mark between the point and SW Pass, that was the first time i have ever seen dolphin in the bay, also i have never seen so many jelly fish like i have seen in the bay since isaac

Throw a pearl white gulp shrimp on a light jig head and keep it close to surface. He will eat it.

I'm pretty sure it's the extreme salainity we have this year but I'd sure like to catch a few... I've caught them offshore fishing trout, sure are some fine eating.

I promise you, they'll eat anything you throw at em. Just gotta make them want it.

They are there, just got to find them! The run is coming to an end soon though.

I was on a decent trout bite the other day at Dry Reef, and 5 of em came up and circled the platform I was fishing, they never came right through where I was catching, but they were close enough to shut the bite down. It was pretty to see, but aggravating that they showed up and shut down the bite!
