WOW, hope he don't lose his vision.

Fella I know was using a bungy cord to strap down an ice chest to the basket on his 4-wheeler. The other end came loose and hit him in the eye, he has a glass eye now. You never know.

bjhooper82 10-04-2012 04:54 PM

Oh man thats not good.

trtdds 10-04-2012 05:01 PM

I'd be a bit reluctant to try the fishing line removal on that one!!!

Country Boy 10-04-2012 09:35 PM

Damn, looks like 2 out of 3 hooks got him, one in the eye and another under the eye.

latravcha 10-04-2012 10:07 PM

WOW

LPfishnTIM 10-04-2012 11:30 PM

were your sunglasses not only for that, but to reduce the chances for cataracts and unneeded eye stress. Plus the glare of the sun off the water is very damaging to your eye sight. and tint doesn't do much for glare, polarization does.

i had 3/8 oz lead head pull out right at the boat and hit the left eye on a pair of costas of a guy fiching with me this year. they did not shatter. thank god he had them on.

gckid 10-05-2012 08:13 AM

had a mullet jump and hit me in the right eye while running gator lines. Had on my costas. Broke glasses, blacked my eye, and knocked me off my seat. Would have probably lost my eye.

SaltERedneck 10-05-2012 08:17 AM

oh my... i know the feeling. NOT in the eye but a hook in the face. I dont think the "line" trick will work on this fella
