Need some help and Indian creek Report

Been catching lots of white perch @ Indian Creek in 12-14 ft water on 1/32 ounce jig using Tennessee shad jigging over coontail grass. It's been morning time mostly before noon. Lots of people been drifting the middle of lake catching bass schooling. Bass have been small but starting to see bigger fish. I have not fished in 6 months, I started last week and got plenty of white perch but I'd like to try some salt water action! Could anybody give me a few pointers for big Lake and what I should throw, and where I might should try? I'm driving a 110 miles and I'd love to have a plan. Any help is definitely appreciated.
Thanks, pastor j

I haven't been on the lake in a while, but from what I am hearing there are birds picking on fish. Glow on 1/4 oz lead head should work.
