That reminded me of a web cam broadcast that I watched a few years ago.

Background.....If you are giving a ticket for a fishing violation you will be required to pay a fine...... OR.....maybe 30 day jail time. This type wording is used on almost all fishing or hunting regulations.

This broad cast that I was listening too was discussing making a change to one of these laws. There was a women from north Louisiana that really thought [the fine or...] 30 day in jail was excessive punishment for this fairly minor type infraction.

The other people tried to explain to this women that in order to collect the fine there HAD to be additional punishment possible to force people to pay the fine. This discussion went round and round for 15+ minutes and the women still did not see the need for the ...30 days in jail, as part of the law.

Can you guess where this discussion took place..........

Our State Legislature........Natural Resource Committee.

I don't get it, whats the problem? Sounds like she has a valid point. We just need more deer trainers, problem solved.
