Billystix Rod.....Could not take it any longer...

Ok guys, I could not stand it any longer and decided to break down and call Stix to order a rod...

I ordered a 7' medium action with all of Stix's bells and whistles...

Just for everyone's information, Stix is a great guy to talk too (and he does talk alot :D). Even if you don't want to buy a rod and just may be interested in getting some info on the Stix Spriral give him a call, he will explain it to you and absolutely will not pressure you into buying a rod. He simply will ask you questions in a way that by giving your answers your actually designing your own rod...

Thanks Stix....I'll be waiting for my rod...:)

Sounds like a nice problem to have. I broke down and ordered the blue viper - can't wait to get it in.

Word of advice - don't call Stix unless you plan on ordering a rod. I almost bought 2 or 3 of em' after our 20 minute call

Billy is The Man

I have bought 4 rods from Billy over the last 2 years.

I have moved all my reels over to Billy Stix rods. They work great. He even has a short handled rod designed for using in Kayaks which is awesome. If you are on the fence about one, just go ahead and get it. You will not regret the decision.

I only wish I needed more fishing rods.

what is the warrenty on theses $200+ rods?

billystix custom rods 10-07-2009 09:06 AM

warrenty on a custom billystix

thats a question that i get asked quite often, and it is not something that i can say this is the warrenty, reason is i have seen and read on many boards the post after post no problem when i want a new rod i just go in and the guy gives me a new one, well i am just a small time builder and i cant afford to just hand out rods in that manner.
so what i tell my customer is this if the rod breaks you and i will take a look at it and discuss it and come to some type arrangment that makes you happy and one that i can live with, but i am not going to leave my customer hoilding the broke stix i will do what needs to be done i believe in "customer service" that's the best i can say.

I think that should be a definate! A sponsor's part of the board where they can be the only ones that start a post.
