Pee Paw, Son and Grandson 10-13-12

Long story short the fishing sucked but the memories will be cherished. Our fishing trip started early Saturday morning by getting breakfast at Cajun fast mart in Carlyss and buying live shrimp at Spicers. We headed back up to Ellender bridge to launch so we fish not only Black Lake but also the Moss Lake area. After a few bits in Black Lake we decided to try the Salt ditch. We found a spot that looked decent and tried it. After catching small drum, reds and specks we made the run to Haymark. Nothing there but VERY small specks. So then we moved to the marsh in Moss lake. Nothing again. Decided to call a it a day and head back to house. We tried live shrimp under corks and on the bottom. Also a variety of gulp. We had no fish but some good memories.

Nothing better than making memories. You have those for a lifetime. Can't wait till the grandkids are a bit older and can go fishing with us.

I wouldn't trade it for nothing. Seeing my dad and my son fish together means the world to me.
