Break in..

Out of town on buisness, my wife called me at 4pm yesterday to tell someone broke into our house (they kicked in our back door) during the day and stole all our TVs, two lap top, ipad, my glock 22 and a few other things. Sitting at airport in NC waiting to fly home since I could not get a flight out yestetday. Amazing the SOBs would do that....had to happen between 9-4 I llive in a modestsubdivision. Something tells me this is an inside job.....we are getting some work done in our kitchen (modifying pantry)....I have insurance but not sure what if anything will be cover...it had to be 2-3 peeps involved....pisses me off.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you recover your stuff.. Let us know how your insurance handles this. Maybe someone here can inform us on theft and homeowners insurance.

My wife called state farm....from what they are saying items will be covered. We need to have a list of the stolen items to them.....not sure what they will cover for replacement. Our deductable is $1,500. They need the police report. I will let yall know when i find out.

Break in advice - off topic

My house flooded earlier this year and had to hire a contractor to completely renovate. Did the whole sheetrock tear out up to 4 ft, new kitchen and bathrooms. Best piece of advice I got was right after it happened.
Move completely out. That way you don't get sheetrock dust on everything and people are rooting thru your stuff. Takes alot of work packing up a house but I rented a climate controlled storage unit nearby plus had a 20' storage container dropped in my driveway.
