Saw the signs advertising for it on I10 when i went to Baton Rouge last week.

Great deal i guess to cover up the debauchery in lacassine...wish they'd plant more rice than sugar cane...i want ducks dammit not a toothache...

I think the distillery is a worse idea than the sugar mill. I give it 5 years

The Columbians that screwed up rice farming and the Diamond W ranch were the best kept secrets of financial screw ups this state has seen in a long time. Their sugar cane green energy bull**** is just that, bull****. A reputable fuel establishment cut them off after their unpaid fuel bill reached 6 figures. The seed company had to do the same thing. Numerous vendors complained of the same thing, they wouldn't pay their bills. The ethanol plant finally mothballed, and the sugarcane farms are useless. And all this on government funds!

hell just pay $25 a pen raised greenhead at Diamond W...or a go on a fat stuffed chucker in a cage that had to be kicked by foot for the bird to fly...lol
