Yea, my little brother took his yak out for the first time and noticed the shrimp
jumping out the water...made a cast and tied on to a good trout. He said before
he could make another cast some dude came motoring up and chunked out his anchor. Bye bye fish! That's when I introduced the term "potlicker" to him. He now
uses it with a few choice adjectives. Can't deal with that kinda crap, going to Prien tomorrow.

At times i might make pot-licking look easy, but surprisingly enough, theres a lot of competition out there. It can be difficult fishing high pro-file places to find the boat catching the fish before all the other amateur pot-lickers do and sneak in there undetected.

The bay was nuts yesterday... Every time a group of birds would pop up, you would hear 10 engines crank up and haul *** to the flock. The trout are in there pretty thick, no need to fight the boats chasing birds.. Last two days were so calm, we sight fished for trout (watched where the shrimp were popping).
