vbay 2moro

It looks like the bad weather will hold until tomorrow afternoon so I'm going to give vbay a shot. It should be interesting in my small boat with 20mph winds but I HAVE to go, I cant stay home again. I will post tomorrow with a report. If anyone sees the bottom of a 16ft boat please flip me back over!

I think I saw that boat a few weeks ago between Grand and Lamberts.
I asked if you drove down from NC. Who ever was at the helm said it
was a tournament boat. Was that you?

cabwiz2 10-08-2009 04:41 PM

No wasnt me. I have only been out in v bay once and the rest of the time in the Dularge/Cocodrie area.

Ray 10-08-2009 04:46 PM

I was talking about the Big Lake area.

cabwiz2 10-08-2009 04:54 PM

I figured that. and come to think of it everytime I have been out on it someone has asked that question to me. I myself have never looked at boat numbers before. I guess I am just not that observant. people seem to be nicer to me once I open my mouth and they fiqure out I am from around here. None have been rude just more hospitable after the know I am From here.

16ft Raycraft bass boat 90etec. Stop by if you see me. should be there from 8-1, gotta pick up the little girl from daycare.

speck-chaser 10-08-2009 10:06 PM

man be careful if that wind picks up. I used to go in my 17' blazer bass boat. Only took me a couple of bad waves to not ever do that again.Always ended up going under the wave.lol Should be great before that front if the wind isnt too bad.

Kitchen: go east past the hammock, the next set of platforms and wellheads you see, thats the kitchen, its almost in east cote blanche.

Well I chickened out. I walked outside this morning and saw how hard the wind was blowing and decided against going to the bay. There is nothing worse than waiting all week to go fishing and not being able to because of the weather so I picked up some crickets and went try to catch some bream....I now know why Im obsessed with saltwater fishing. No bream, specks or reds but I did just finish off some steak and gravy. If anyone braved the elements let me know.

How do you upload pics on here?

Thanks TRED

I chickened out also. I was on the way to get my boat and called my buddy and said I am scared!!! he laughed but said he was worried also and didnt want to say so. Oh well next week end looks good weather wise so far.

speck-chaser 10-09-2009 10:28 PM

probably was the sensible thing to do. Besides safety,I hate trying to fish and run a trolling motor in th wind and current too. All that wind prolly has the water stirred up anyway. If you make enough excuses its not soo bad. lol
