Headed to Prien
 

Gonna fish Prien lake area for the first time ever on saturday. Hopefully I'll have a good report and lots of pics. Any advice is appreciated but really I hope to do some good exploring. :D

A friend and I went fished prien this week.It was a bust .Did not even get a good bite.Sorry hope you do better then we did.

So its a no go with my buddy bc of the wind. He doesnt like to fish in a boat in strong wind. Any bank fishing ideas?

The rock jetty at prien park maybe. Never fished it in windy conditions so dont know If that effects it or not. You can also try the I10 beach maybe

Saturday: Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Lake waters choppy.

Saturday Night: Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots after midnight. Lake waters choppy increasing to rough after midnight.

Sunday: South winds 15 to 20 knots. Lake waters rough. A chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Sunday Night: South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Lake waters rough decreasing to choppy after midnight. Showers and thunderstorms likely in the evening... Then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight.

Monday: North winds 15 to 20 knots. Lake waters rough. A chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Monday Night: Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Lake waters choppy.
