Made a trip to Toledo last Friday, came home that night and parked my boat under my carport. Woke up Saturday and cleaned up the boat and parked it in my barn where it stays. Wake up Thursday morning to go fish flounder with a buddy from work, pull my boat out and notice foot prints all in the bottom. Opened up rod box and nothing there. Took 9 rods, a rubber made box full of zoom baits, and my frog toggs. Called insurance company and I only had insurance on electronics, so they won't cover my losses.

Dang that sucks

I bumped up my contents coverage after hitting a stump and spinning out earlier this year, it was relatively cheap and will be one less thing to worry about after an unpleasant event...

I upped mine today. It was 40 more dollars a year for $2500 worth of coverage for rods and tackle. Too bad I didn't have it already.

At least a thief has the drive to get off the porch and work for what they take.

Had the same thing happen to me about 5 years ago. 6 good rods and reels and3 full tackle boxes!!!... I feel your pain!!

If you could rig up a bear trap and place a rod in it..... Nothing more beautiful as a thief with his hand cut off
