Down On The DU!

Another great weekend of fishing and looking forward to another good week as soon as the winds come down. Another 350 trout bit the dust along with a variety of other fish including redfish,drum,sheepshead,bull reds and flounder. On Friday, I fished with a group from Canada and Australia and these guys were a lot of fun. They were not interested in trout fishing as they wanted larger fish to fight. We bottom fished with this crew as they caught nearly 100 fish by noon. They had caught 55 fish by 9:00 and we ran out of bait. Made a run back in and loaded up with more bait and fished until noon catching another 40 fish. They caught and released most of everything they caught except for a few fish that we brought in for another crew member. This crew caught bull reds,rat reds, bull drum and sheepshead until they couldn't go anymore. Big thanks to Frac Chem and Mark for putting together the trip at the Lakehouse! Big thanks to Capt Josh Ellender for taking care of the crew from New York. Bruce Bonaquist and his guest busted up the trout and had a good tome doing it. Good luck fishing.
