Dularge Trout Fishing

Nov. 17, Another very good day on the DU! After slamming the trout in the morning and getting about 90 minutes of rest it was back out with a different crew. Steven Williams, Fred Porche and Freds son Kerwin picked me up at the Lakehouse at 3:10 pm. We were back at 5:15 just before dark with full limits of 75 trout and a couple reds for the trio. 14-18 in. fish all caught on double rigged LSU chubs. The guys kept me busy unhooking fish for a solid hour as they had them coming in to the boat 2 at a time on almost every cast. The crew was from Lafayette and fished for 2 days on their own and could not find any big numbers of fish. Somebody at Jugs gave them my number and the rest is history! I've never seen 3 guys enjoy catching fish so much as this crew. Man what a day on the DU!! Good luck fishing. I try and load a few pics with my i phone but they come out sideways.
