Made a trip to deer lease to try n chase tail. Passed on a doe Friday morn. Too early to tell if it was a spike. Then nothing everyone else killing but me. Then thus afternoon Dow jumps out split second opp and I got the shot off but missed. 250yds and a target the suze of a cinder block. She was between two pines. Dang the luck, 250 yds is a hellava shot, I've never shot more then 150 yds. Nice woods.

I wouldn't have but it was last afternoon and I thought I could do it since I drilled a doe in the face at 163 few yrs ago. Not the case
