Do The DU!
 

Rain rain go away. Too much rain this morning for 80 yr old Mr Jules Broussard and his wife to make the trip. We may try this afternoon if weather clears up. Tomorrow not looking good either. Good time to catch up with reports.
Nov. 19........Monday before Thanksgiving was a great day to fish on the DU. I fished with Henry Hoffstadt and his crew. We spent the morning fishing the winter pattern in the deeper waterways around Bayou Seveur. We found fish at every location we fished and big numbers(52 fish) at one of our spots. Bunker and HLT Blue Tiger swimmer Jr's caught a bunch of fish. The best lure was the blue Big Eye fished about 15 inches under a cork. (Thanks Capt Tommy for a nice productive lure) Thought we had our 100 trout but ended up with 93 trout and 1 redfish. The crew had a blast doing the DU! Good luck fishing.
