simplepeddler 12-03-2012 06:49 PM

I have property there also, and the Sheriffs office don't play if you call em.

jdm4x43732 12-03-2012 07:23 PM

I'd go hunt it the opening morning of the 2nd split. Let them show up and try to make you leave.

Lake Chuck Duck 12-03-2012 07:27 PM

Wait til opening morning, ride down there and look for a truck. Have cops waiting when they come out.

mallardhead 12-03-2012 07:37 PM

Guess I will have to go down there opening morning and have sherrifs office deal with it hopefully get done quick so I can make a late hunt in east creole

wtretrievers 12-03-2012 08:09 PM

Leave them a note in a ziplock with your phone number that they are on posted prop & sheriff will be involved if not removed by such date if they have any questions to call, Make a copy!!!!!

Ray 12-03-2012 08:37 PM

If you steal decoys, do not every go back. You will regret it.
Get the cops involved. Or LDWF. Be sure to have lease paperwork or proof of ownership.

mallardhead 12-03-2012 08:38 PM

Thanks for the suggestions guys I appreciate it

LPfishnTIM 12-03-2012 08:41 PM

I've had friends with people hunting there blinds on there leases, they bring a couple gallons of gas with them, if someone else is hunting and won't let them in there own blind they burn it, let them know if they can't hunt there own blind others wont either!

sound like the sheriffs dept handling it should help if they are strict about it.

barbarian 12-03-2012 08:51 PM

On the flip side, there are acres and acres of undivided property down there so it is very possible that it could be an honest mistake. Uncle Boudreaux told his nephew he could hunt that 2nd pond from the 3rd trail on the left type thing. Personally, I would either call the sheriffs dept or just go talk to them. If that doesn't work, then just warn them that the sheriff will handle it from here on out.

mallardhead 12-03-2012 08:53 PM

Yea one way or the other they will have to go me and my family have owned that property for generations whoever Is hunting there knows better. Its hard keeping up with property when u don't live around there anymore just by chance someone passed by there today and discovered it was occupied

Raymond 12-03-2012 08:58 PM

Tell the cops and DA to shove that speeding and seat belt ticket up their azz!!
Oh snap! Wrong thread

Ray 12-03-2012 08:59 PM

What family? What side of the road?
There is so much undivided property South of the highway.
