Bayou game straps
 

There was a company called Bayou Game Straps that made duck lanyards out of leather and they were engraved with whatever name you wanted too. Can't find em anywhere. Anyone have a lead on em? Maybe Top Dawg or Feesherman can post a pic of some to get a better idea of what I'm talkin about.

If you're in the sulphur area smith and sons makes them it's identical to the bayou game straps.

I saw some at the outdoor expo I almost bought one. I can't remember the name of them but I like them more than the one I have. This one had metal rings woven into each side and you could clip and unclip the straps if need be. I wanna say they were out of Texas.

Bayou game straps is no more . Smith and Sons in Sulphur makes them just like the Bayou Game strap for about 65 bucks. Tanglefree makes one with the straps that come off ,Nichols in Dequincy did have those .

There's a guy in LeBleu Settlement that makes them also.

I think he used to advertise on Ricelands site, it was Mr. Marceaux(sp), I know his son and he still makes them by request.

Otis Leather Company makes some good straps that can be engraved.

I saw Mr. Musgrove at the Market Basket in Moss Bluff a couple months ago and he is retired not and no longer doing leather work. Great old man!

I just talked to a friend of mine that does custom leather work, a lot of Harley/Biker stuff.

I asked him about building some game straps. He told me he has never built one but if its leather he can build it...

He is a perfectionist so there is no need to doubt his ability.
