Hunting with the flu? You must feel much better than me, I don't want to leave the couch.

man I came down with something viral last night... my sons on the way to the dr. now. he spiked a 102 temp. I never got feverish but had the aches and a cough.

I just hope it clears for sunday. gonna be miserable out in the cold marsh.

Good job, would you share how you make your blind brushing material?
It looks really good. Do you guide hunters too? Thanks.

Jadams 12-27-2012 03:49 PM

PVC pipe 4x4 wire zip ties and weave bundle.... Yes I'm a guide

Jadams 12-27-2012 03:50 PM

Cut salt grass put it in bundles and electrical tape in the. Weave through the squares.....

Gottogo49 12-27-2012 06:35 PM

Neat, I helped a buddy with his blind and we did something similar with salt grass bundles and cable ties mounted on sticks of bamboo cane but I think that yours look better. The greatest thing was my buddy had a gasoline powered hedge clipper. It mowed down some salt grass. I need to borrow that thing, cutting salt grass by hand is a real chore. For my temporary blind, I used roseau canes, it's quick and it works OK but it doesn't look nearly as natural.

Yea I use gas hedger
