Cajun yacht

Imagine taking a oil tanker off of an 18 wheeler, splitting it in half. Take those halves and turn them into a catamaran. Attach two 350s on the back and hold on. My uncle came up with this. This thing is pretty amazing I must say. A 52 foot Cajun yacht with double bunk beds, a small kitchen, and a master bedroom. Pretty crazy.

Looks like a gnarly pirate ship!! Bad arse!

I saw that beauty coasting down the Boston not to long ago. Next time I see it I might stop and ask to take a peek. That sure looks like some nice craftsmanship right there.
|
Looks like he went from two strokes to four strokes. That's a neat looking boat.

He's proud of it and I'm sure he wouldn't mind letting you look. It's still a work in progress but I can tell you that's a lot of aluminum.

It will go a little over 30 but he's having trouble getting it on step. Fixing to dry dock it to fix the problem before we go to the flower gardens in February.

With this high water it's real easy to see this beast on the 14 bypass in Abbeville. Going into Abbeville crossing the river just look to your right.
