Good times today out of The Reel Inn Lodge. Roy Buchler with BISSO Marine arrived yesterday afternoon with his crew. Chef Shawn Whitney cooked up a incredible crawfish étouffée, potato salad, and a awesome desert. Everyone enjoyed everything and had a great night at the lodge. We had a early morning departure and all three boats got on a great early morning bite slinging in the yellow mouths steady. By 9:00 am the bite slowed down and we started picking away at the trout and a few redfish. We called it a day before noon to beat the weather. Matrix Shad Tiger Baits, and Lemon Head did the damage today. Big thanks to Capt Travis Miller and Capt Chris Venable for running the other two boats. Chef Shawn had a big pot of gumbo prepared when we arrived back at the lodge and is preparing steaks as I type!!! Good times down in Dularge. Thanks again Roy for all you do.
