Live from Tensas youth hunt
 

My lil girl got drawn for a ladder stand this morning so I did not get to go out with her . Her first time to hunt without me and with someone else. They are out picking up the kids now from the morning hunt. Can't wait to see what they bring in.... Shouldnt be long..

Well??? Suspense is killing me

Could not get phone service , sorry . 3 deer taken this morning 1 five point 2 does. I'm in the stand with her now , turns out she got a box blind .
They were told this is not a trophy hunt , you don't pass a deer. So she did not "pass" the spikes she saw "she couldn't get a shot"...
Will keep you posted as cell service allows

she is a regular lil huntress, you guys have had some good luck with the lottery hunts, don't see too many younguns getting into hunting like she is doing that is awesome

6 does and 2 small bucks taken this afternoon She saw one deer this evening another spike Leaving without a deer but great to be here and another great experience for her .
My buddy's boy saw a nice 130 class but could not get a shot and another mature buck this evening and not able to get a shot again.

Yep fish you right, she loves it . How many times this evening i heard ,Dad I want a big buck!
